Ollivander

Did this drawing based off a picture I took of my sister's cat, Ollie, short for Ollivander, named after the wand maker in Harry Potter...she's a fanatic >.>. It looks very little like the actual picture, but still looks like Ollie and is good in its own way.
We found Ollie and our other cat, Noodle, in a load of hay we bought October 2010 -they were just over a week old and just opened their eyes and had been left for two days no mother, food or water. I found them after I heard mewing and lo and behold...two kittens! They were in really bad shape, but we kept them and nursed them ourselves. Ollie is a moody teenager right now, but loves to come wake everyone up at 6AM by purring and licking their faces, then take a nap curled into your neck. He woolsucks too, so he has my robe and my sister's blanket that he will bite onto, knead the blanket and purr.
Noodle LOVES people, no, she loves love! (She's sort of like Woofie from the comic Mutts, except not a dog lol [link] )She's very talkative and smart. She wants attention or to be petted, she'll put her paw on your hand. She wants to be held, she'll come up and wrap her front paws around your forearm. She wants to go outside, she'll come get you and reach for the door handle (ours is a lever, so she knows that pulling down on it will open it, but she hasn't quite figured out how...yet.) She wants food, she will either come get you and sit in front of her bowl or will go eat the dog's food until you feed her. Aww...the cutie kitties. Anyways, back to the art.

Took to county fair, got a first and best in show for the category. Judge absolutely loved all my color pieces. First time anyone has ever told me they liked my color schemes...especially because I'm a bit of a colorphobe. Chalk pastel on black paper 8x10
